Do you take over my payments or scheduling?
No. ViaCara introduces clients to you. Scheduling, payments, session notes and clinical records stay entirely within your practice. We never intermediate your client relationships.
When am I charged a credit?
Only when you confirm availability for a client introduction. Viewing introductions and passing on them is always free. You're in control of every credit spent.
How is this different from a directory listing?
Directories let clients browse and self-select. ViaCara pairs algorithmically based on a triage conversation. Clients never see a list. Every introduction is personalised and the client has already committed, which means you only hear from people who are genuinely ready to start.
Can I pause if my caseload is full?
Yes. Pausing retains your tier pricing and quality score. You won't receive new introductions while paused, but existing client relationships continue. Resume anytime at the same rate.
Which professional bodies do you accept?
Any PSA-accredited register including BACP, UKCP, NCPS and BABCP. HCPC registration for psychologists. ICF, EMCC and AC for coaches. GHR and CNHC for hypnotherapists. We're expanding to European bodies as we roll out internationally.
What data do you share with clients about me?
Before the client commits: first name, professional title, accreditation body, approach tags, availability pattern and a generated summary of why you're a good fit. After they commit: full name and contact details. Your session fees are visible throughout. We never share clinical notes or private information.
Do I need to change my existing tools?
No. ViaCara works alongside whatever you already use. We don't require you to adopt our calendar, our payment system or our clinical records. You continue operating completely independently.
How do you handle referral ethics?
We've designed around BACP and UKCP ethical frameworks. Rewards are always platform credits, never cash payments. Referral incentives are structured to avoid conflicts of interest. Our introductions are algorithmic, not influenced by commercial relationships.
Launch questions
When will you launch in my city?
We roll out city by city for in-person introductions, because we need enough practitioners and clients in the same area for the matching to work well. Manchester is the active launch city and we're onboarding founding practitioners there now. Other cities open in waves as we build density. Online introductions are available nationally once the waitlist is open, regardless of where you're based.
Do you serve clients outside the UK?
Not yet. The private practice markets we're opening first are the UK and Republic of Ireland. Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden are on the roadmap behind that, with localised triage and GDPR data residency in the EU. If you practise cross-border or serve English-speaking clients in Europe, join the waitlist and we'll reach out when we open in your market.
How is in-person different from online practice?
Online practice can draw from a national pool of clients, so online-only practitioners are matched as soon as we open the waitlist in your country. In-person practice needs geographic density: enough clients in your area who want to see someone face to face. That's why in-person unlocks city by city. You can offer both and we'll introduce clients to whichever mode fits them best.
